The Statistics Alumni, though in existence from 1970’s, was officially formed on 10th September, 2017, the birth day of Prof. C. R. Rao, with Prof. V. Kodandarami Reddy as founder President and Prof. P. Rajasekhara Reddy as founder Secretary.
The activity started with the birthday celebrations of Prof. C.R. Rao with Prof. L. Kannaiah Naidu as Chief Guest. Prof. E. Satyanarayana, Dr. K.T. Reddy, Dr. K.V. Ramana Reddy, Prof. KVS Sharma, and some other statistics alumni graced the occasion.
Statistics Alumni, SV University, Tirupati creates and maintains a life-long connection between Statistics Department and its Alumni. The Alumni Association works to connect alumni, support students, and build a memorable experience through a diversity of events, programmes and services. Alumni relations are an important part of an institution’s advancement activities for many reasons. Alumni are an institution’s most loyal supporters.
Our Alumni are our International Ambassadors and they need to be approached not only for fund mobilization but also for their involvement and support in all its academic activities.
